Roger Rodríguez – “Caballos BT”
Roger Rodríguez was borned in Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela, on August 01, 1976. He studied at the School of Visual Arts Martín Tovar y Tovar. His art teacher, Hugo Daza, guided him in the learning of artistic composition and landscape. He studied drawing with Professor Dino di Rosa. Later, he took an airbrushing course with the recognized artist Professor Chema. He has had numerous exhibitions in Venezuela and Spain.
His style travels between the real and the imaginary. His work focuses on the representation of the horse, transforming them in rounding figures dancing on imaginary landscapes. His artworks have an almost childlike playfulness, in items like paper boats and balls. He represents his figurative elements over geometric spaces, like the checkered floor.
