Tatiana Moya, Chilean artist (1970) studied Theory and History of Art at the Universidad de Chile, in addition to completing studies of the art cycle at the Universidad Católica de Chile. She was trained in workshops with prominent artists such as Isabel Viviani, Matias Movillo, Ignacio Gumucio, among others.
Her work originates from her emotional bond with nature, the representations that appear in the development of her work, are usually synthetic, harmonious and free. The plant world appears through stains and lines superimposed on each other, which become rhythm and color on the canvas. Intuition and spontaneity are the organic foundation in her proposal, as well as respect for the behavior and tradition of the materials.
She is influenced by abstract expressionism from Joan Mitchell, Lee Krasner, among others.
