Andrés (Titi) Gana (1950), chilean painter. He has a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Chile. He studied painting with Francisco Brugnoli and Rodolfo Opazo. He settled in France for 10 years. He makes oil paintings as a central work, drawings, watercolors, acrylics on paper and woodcuts, and sometimes book covers and illustrations for magazines.

His painting is essentially figurative, without being realistic, of an expressionist nature. His narrative objective is the everyday, the idiosyncrasy of those who inhabit the Chilean landscape, their trades and stereotypes, seen sharply and transferred to canvas with delicate humor. He often draws on his personal experiences and memories.

During the last decade he has continued to hold individual exhibitions every two years and has also participated in group events, fairs and group work projects, generally regional. His work is part of the Chilean imaginary, a large mural is housed in one of the Santiago de Chile subway stations and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Santiago held in 2012 a retrospective of his work between the years 1970 and 2012.
