Víctor Asuaje (1966) was born in Barquisimeto and currently resides in Portuguesa, Venezuela. He is a self-taught artist who had the opportunity to participate in the main salons and exhibitions in Venezuela, particularly in the 80s and 90s. He has the merit of having developed, for more than 30 years, a visual language and a solid artistic career. He has been widely awarded and applauded by critics for his constant practice and experimentation, for his mastery of the drawing technique and for his extraordinary handling of color and pictorial composition.”
