Natalia Rondón (Venezuela) is a multidisciplinary artist who has developed a work around the landscape, conceived as a cartography of aerial views. Her passion for traveling has led her to tour cities, of which she has accumulated images and memories. In the Cartografía portátil (Portable cartography) series, which began in 2005, she begins to relate these visual records with the memory of the ‘tour’ she took through those places, both in Venezuela and abroad: Barquisimeto, New York, Caracas, Montevideo, Havana, Barcelona, ​​Maracaibo, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Istanbul, among others. And what better way to connect with each place than with the complete zenithal view of the map.
