Andrés García Figueroa (1971), IXUL, is a Chilean painter and muralist, who is mainly self-taught.

His education is linked to the world of design. He is free to express himself through his drawings that flow through various surfaces and locations. You can find his murals on the front of iconic buildings in the city of Santiago de Chile, where his art is part of the urban landscape to many people in the city. He uses canvases, walls, digital prints to create these imaginary worlds and invites the viewers to step in and enjoy.

His work contains a lot of energy, almost about to explode. Our shared dreams converge on his canvases as well as what differentiates us. His art also represents the challenges of the future and the struggle to achieve them. The presence of warriors riding on their beasts in difficult times in the middle of light highlights their impulses and their absence through brilliant colors or monochromatism.
